4 Miler

I ran 4 miles before work this morning, past the navy yard, down to the East River, along the water under the Manhattan Bridge and the Brooklyn Bridge, along the Brooklyn Promenade, and back home again. Two and a half years and I still can't believe we live here sometimes. It was such a beautiful and refreshing run. And I did it in shorts and a tank top! Loving this Indian Summer! As much as I love having Fort Greene Park right by our apartment, it's too small for these longer distances and I get bored. 4 miles through Brooklyn felt so much easier than two miles of looping around the .8 mile circumference of the park. It's so funny how mental running can be! Excited to be getting up in mileage.
