This was our first 4th of July we actually spent in NYC since moving here. We were invited to our friend Joe's apartment for dinner and fireworks. Joe lives in a highrise apartment building right on the Hudson. We watched the fireworks from his roof where we had spectacular views of the Macy's show as well as all the other shows going on all across New Jersey.

No good photos of the fireworks this year (we decided to enjoy them in real time rather than take pictures of them), but they were spectacular. Happy 4th of July!
