Day 2: A Day of Firsts

Our second day at Hilton Head was a day of firsts. Kristina is growing so fast and at a fun age. She is recognizing the whole family by name and now says "Mama", "Dada" and grandma's favorite, "Mormor".

This morning we all stopped at the petting farm at Lawton Stables to see the animals. We did not know that such a treat would be in store. It's no surprise that horseback riding runs in the Samuelson family blood. Kristina may not be walking, but she was a pro at pony riding. Only 15 months old and she did great!

After spending the afternoon at the beach, we hung out back at home enjoying the air conditioned house. It is H O T down here in SC.


It was Erik and Jessica's night to make dinner, so while they shopped and prepared, we took our bikes out to get ice cream, a real treat for Kristina. Mommy let her taste her first bite of ice cream.
