I have been so incredibly busy at work that I've barely had the time to eat, much less get a decent amount of sleep in. We are working towards an April 17th deadline for CD issue of the FF&E package for St. Regis - Cairo. In plain english: all detailed documentation of every loose piece of furniture, decorative light fixture, equipment, plumbing fixture, artwork, and accessory for the 2 million square feet of hotel must be submitted in final form. This has been my year long task while here at MGA and I can't believe it's time for submittal. My first FF&E submittal as a professional designer and I have headed up 2 million square feet of it! Quite exciting...also quite exhausting.
Sunday, I finally took a day off. I was having trouble getting my "work wheels" to stop spinning so Dan convinced me to take a walk with him in the misty New York weather after church. We took our camera, of which I've been trying to play around with a bit more, and had some fun. It was a much needed escape. Here are some of our favorite shots.
