This Saturday I volunteered for the Norwegian Festival Half Marathon. Let's just say I'm glad I got it over with. I don't mind getting up early if I have to be somewhere, but I was pretty disappointed with NYRR for telling me I needed to be in Central Park by 7am and then making all the volunteers sit around until 8am before assigning us stations.
It was encouraging to be able to watch the half though. I was definately inspired. Thankfully, Saturday afternoon was rainy and I hid in bed in my sweats with the windows open and my nose in a book. Delight!
